No donations accepted
Since soon after the inception of America's Party in 2008, we have taken no donations. Our party is primarily a set of non-negotiable American principles, and the means for providing accountability within our party to those principles. This way we are, and will remain, a completely grassroots organization.
We are striving to create a culture of principle to replace the culture of compromise represented by the two so-called "major" parties. One of the ways we are doing that is by keeping the money interests as far away from our platform and our principles as we can. Now, this does not mean that we are foolish enough to think that we can save the country with no physical resources at all. No. We are simply redirecting the flow of those resources. Instead of enriching the fundraisers, or more and more national political organizations, as has been the case for so many decades among conservatives, we instead urge our people to donate directly to the grassroots activists who are down in the trenches fighting for our cause at the local and state level. Help them keep gas in their tank. Help them keep their phones and their websites on. Help them with their printing costs, etc. If you want to know where to direct your financial resources, just ask anyone in the party. They will point you to any number of worthy workers who very much need your assistance. Thanks. -- Tom Hoefling, Chairman, America's Party |
